Job Title:Open Rank, Tenure-Track Faculty in Cancer Control and Worker Health Program
Job Description:The department of Family and Community Medicine and the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center invite applications for open rank, tenure-track or tenured faculty position. The investigator's primary appointment will be in the department of Family and Community Medicine. The investigator will also be a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Program of the Comprehensive Cancer Center and will be appointed to the Center for Worker Health. We are interested in researchers whose training and experience allow rigorous study of any aspect of cancer prevention and control in the Hispanic/Latino population.

Applicants should have a Ph.D., Dr.P.H., M.D., or similar degree. This position requires demonstrated ability to conduct outstanding scholarly work and obtain peer-review funding. Ideally, candidates will have experience conducting translational research, but those more focused on community, organizational, or clinical research are also encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will serve as principal investigator on their own projects and as co-investigator with multi-disciplinanary research teams. Opportunities exist for collaboration with reserachers and clinicians across the School of Medicined and other schools and colleges within Wake Forest University. Teaching undergraduate medical students and graduate students are available. Physicians may be involved in direct patient care and supervising residents.
