A team of more than 200 scientists and technicians, joining their expertise in cancer biology and genomics, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, structural research, high-throughput screening and Discovery ADME, drive our effort to identify and profile novel oncology drugs. In our Department of NBE Discovery we are currently looking for a highly motivated and independent scientist as: Research Laboratory Head (m/f) - Cancer Biotherapeutics Discovery Your responsibilities: - Head an in vitro research laboratory with highly motivated and qualified scientists - Target validation using cutting-edge genetic, biochemical and cell biological approaches - Actively contribute to target selection and evaluation to propose new biotherapeutic-based cancer projects - Close interaction with project teams, lead generation group, biomarker group, medical and marketing experts Your qualifications: - PhD in biosciences or MD with sound background in molecular biology, protein chemistry and cell biology -Thorough understanding of cancer biology and broad interest in drug discovery - 2 years or more of postdoctoral experience in oncology with focus on biotherapeutics - Excellent publication record - Excellent team spirit, communication and presentation skills If you are looking for an intellectual challenge, a research driven environment and stateof-the-art facilities, please apply for this position on our homepage and send us your application including a CV with a detailed description of your relevant experience quoting our reference number 637: www.boehringer-ingelheim.at Boehringer Ingelheim RCV GmbH & Co KG Human Resources Personnel Development & Recruiting Dr.-Boehringer-Gasse 5-11 1121 Wien
